The profusion of fruit trees, bushes and creeks has provided dwelling for a fascinating variety of endemic and migratory birds. Eagles: Black Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle and the Hawk Eagle.

Hornbills: Malabar Grey Hornbill, Malabar Pied Hornbill and the Great Hornbill.

Nocturnal birds: Brown Fish Owl, Brown Hawk Owl, Jungle Owlets and Spotted Owlet.

Songbirds: Fly Catchers, Malabar Whistling Thrush, Wynaad Laughing Thrush.

Warblers: Large Billed Warbler.

Tits: Black Lored Tit and the Grey Tit.
