At the end of the day guests may also opt to share a traditional meal or a plantation barbeque with the planter and his family. They have lived in the area for long and have many a tale to narrate. At sundown a bonfire is lit and the barbeque begins. In the profound silence of the evening, surrounded by the darkening mountains, conversations begin and wander into the night accompanied by poultry, meats and vegetables from the region. Next to the planter's home a building houses accommodations and dining facilities for guests who may need to refresh themselves or even spend the entire day here.
